ABOUT ME
An Assistant Urban Designer at David Lock Associates, currently studying an MA Urban Design at Oxford Brookes University, having graduated with First-Class Honours in Urban Design, Planning and Development. My time on this course has enabled me to gain a strong understanding of urban design and the planning industry, through a mixture of live projects and theoretical modules.

I am studying an MA in Urban Design to reinforce my understanding, and delve into more innovative and forward-thinking project work.

I have graduated with First-Class Honours in Urban Design, Planning and Development, which is accredited by the RTPI when combined with an MA in Urban Design.

This course touches on a wide range of areas within Urban Design and Planning, from global cities to community levels, and from heritage to mobility.

Freelance Urban Designer
Acting as a Freelance Urban Designer on behalf of Built Form Design, I am currently working as part of a team to deliver a planning application for over six hundred homes on brownfield land in Bedfordshire. Working on a project like this has allowed me to progress my skills in AutoCAD, using the software to test proving layouts and set out a masterplan.

I am grateful to have worked at David Lock Associates for a two-weeks work experience, helping me build an understanding of how industry and consultancies operate.

I was able to learn from and work on a range of schemes, ranging from local plan development, design guides, large-scale schemes, and smaller suburban extensions.
